Eight students from St. Mary’s Dominican High School have been recognized as finalists by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). Dominican students recognized as National Merit Finalists are: Kelsey Blosser, Hannah Calamusa, Genevieve Mattei, Rachel Nguyen, Callie Oliver, Anna Sheridan, and Margaret Webb. Caitlyn Heisser was named a National Achievement Program Finalist.

These students are now eligible to receive the National Merit or Achievement Scholarship, and recipients will be announced in the spring.

They were selected from approximately 16,000 semifinalists in the 60th Annual NMSC Program. These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 8,000 National Merit Scholarships worth about $35 million that will be offered this spring.
