The Speech and Debate Team promotes the art of public speaking and debate.  The group participates in local speech and debate tournaments.  Some areas are prose and poetry reading, humorous and dramatic interpretation, extemporaneous and impromptu speaking, original oratory, declamation, and duo and duet acting.
