The National Honor Society is open to qualified sophomores, juniors, and seniors.  Students are selected by the faculty council appointed by the Administration.  Faculty members evaluate those students who best meet the qualifications as stated in the organization's national handbook.  Students are evaluated based on outstanding scholarship, character, leadership, and service.  Candidates must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.75, be a current, active member of at least one Dominican club, team, or organization, and must be involved
in ongoing community volunteer service.

Members of NHS recently teamed up with Brother Martin NHS members to help out with a middle school Quiz Bowl tournament.

NHS sold Candy Grams during lunch and delivered them during homeroom.

 The Gift of Giving

Members of Dominican's National Honor Society and Drama Club donated toys for the Children's Hospital
Toy Drive. They also volunteered their time to organize the toys for distribution.
