Tri-M Music Honor Society is the international honor society recognizing secondary music students for their
musical ability, academic excellence, school involvement, and community service. 
There are more than 4,000 chapters worldwide and Dominican was the 1st all female high school in the
New Orleans area to form a chapter.  Students at Dominican are eligible for membership after completing
two full years in a music course.

Smart & Talented Musicians



Tri-M Hosted recently hosted a bake sale, and the funds will go to the 
Music Educators National Conference - The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation.  
This foundations helped the band replace destroyed insturments after Hurricane Katrina.


Tri-M also recently hosted an array of fun events during lunch, including musical chairs, pin the note on the staff, and a sing-along!
