Dominican cheerleaders and students collected 139 dresses in support of “Friends of Scott.” This organization helps kids with cancer by hosting an event called “Unforgettable Prom.” The event is being held at Champion’s Square this year on April 6, 2012.

On Friday, February 10, St. Mary’s Dominican High School celebrated the Foundation of the high school year of 1860-1861.  A panel of Alumnae and one Dominican Sister of Peace addressed the student body on how they boldly serve and live the attributes of a Dominican Graduate.  Each speaker began with, “I am a Dominican, I choose to serve and make the world a better place.”  Students received a Sesquicentennial Pin representing all the class levels within the eight pointed star associated with St. Dominic.  The students also enjoyed the tradition of cake.
