Book Club

Book Club is an organization for students to expand their literary background and further their knowledge through reading. Students chose a novel to read and then discuss their opinions about the book with their peers. Only seniors are eligible to join. Students are able to choose the books (with help from the advisor) so they are intriguing, modern, and fun to read. We make reading fun!

On Tuesday, November 16, the New Orleans Public Library hosted “A Conversation with Soledad O’Brien,” at which the CNN correspondent and anchor read a selection on the chapter about Katrina from her new book, The Next Big Story, and held an informal question and answer session.
