On February 11, Dominican celebrated Foundation Day. This is a very special day for our school community for it was during the month of February that our school was founded in the 1860-1861 school year.
This year, at the beginning of each period, student preachers recited a prayer and reflected on a question given to them by Sr. Pat Harvat, O.P. During the prayer and reflection, students were asked to be a part of “sustained silent reflection.”
At lunch, cake was served in celebration of Foundation Day!
