On January 28, St. Mary’s Dominican High School volleyball players and coaches attended a check presentation at the Tulane Cancer Center. Participating schools, including Dominican, donated over $17,000 to the center from proceeds raised at the pink volleyball games this fall. Dominican raised $7,319.10 toward the overall amount.
The Tulane Cancer Center Patient Relief Fund provides financial assistance to breast cancer patients and their families. Since 2008 the fund has helped more than 235 patients.
This marks the eighth year for Dominican’s “Paint The Pitt” Volleyball game.
