National Merit Scholarship Finalists

Three St. Mary’s Dominican High School students have been recognized as finalists by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). They are: Ellen Elizabeth Carriere, Emily Lorelei Munch, and Frances Veronica Smith.

These students are now eligible to receive the National Merit Scholarship, and recipients will be announced in the spring. They were selected from approximately 16,000 semifinalists in the 61st Annual NMSC Program. These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,400 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $32 million that will be offered this spring.
