MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL PHOTO GALLERY

It was a pageantry of traditional dresses and performances at the Multicultural Festival, organized by the Multicultural Club. Dances included a traditional Irish performance, a salsa lesson, and African dances including one by students at Lafayette Academy. Guest performers from Lafayette Academy also performed a hip-hop routine. Musical performances included the playing of a ukulele from Hawaii, Tri- Music Honor Society members playing a tango, and a performance by Dominican’s “One Lan Band.” Other performances included two martial arts demonstrations.

The festival concluded with a performance and second line by St. Augustine’s Brass Band.

This was the eighth year for the festival. Multicultural Club moderators are Ms. Claudia Vallejo and Ms. Suzanne Ladmirault.
