Before the start of the 2026–2027 school year, Dominican personnel gathered for a day of retreat, reflection, and renewal rooted in our Dominican pillar of Prayer.
The day began with Mass celebrated by Fr. Patrick Carr of St. Rita Parish, with alumna Lorraine Hess ’86 serving as music accompanist. Sr. Carol Davis, OP, of the Dominican Sisters of Peace, then led our retreat, inviting us to reflect on the question: Who is Jesus to me?
As we prepare to welcome our students back to campus, we are grateful for this time to pause, reconnect, and renew our commitment to Dominican’s four pillars of Prayer, Study, Community and Service.
“Jesus, Son of God, set me free, give me life.”
