Gale Virtual Reference Library of E BOOKS (GVRL) encyclopedias and specialized reference books for multidisciplinary research. Some Gale databases are cross-searchable.  All databases can be searched individually.

8. KnowLA – Encyclopedia of New Orleans – History, Culture and Community of Louisiana

User name and Password not needed.

9. Public Library Online catalogs—Anyone can search for a book’s availability at a local PUBLIC library with this online catalog.  You will need a public Library Card to reserve or checkout a book.

10. Louisiana Library Connection (LaLibCon) – Access the State Library database collection by using a library card from a public library in Louisiana.
