Five St. Mary’s Dominican High School Seniors — Therese Carriere, Ashlynn Dinh, Enna Hawes, Vanessa Liu, and Emily Nathan — are finalists in the 2026 competition for National Merit® Scholarship awards. They were among more than 15,000 Finalists with the highest scores, representing less than one percent of the nation’s school graduating seniors. Finalists have the opportunity to continue in the competition for some 6,870 National Merit Scholarships.
