Godspell, the first major musical by Stephen Schwartz, tells the story of Jesus Christ through the use of song, dance, and comedy. Jesus is helped in his storytelling of the parables by a group of high school students in Dominican’s production. Messages of love, kindness, and tolerance permeate the stage and into the audience’s hearts.
