Volunteer Tour Information for Open House

3:30 PM – 6:30 PM

 

Dominican Open House Goal:

Showcase the gifts, talents, and beauty of our students, personnel, and campus to prospective families!

 

Shifts: Shifts are from 3 pm – 5:30 pm or 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Please arrive twenty minutes early.

Note in the comment section below if you would like to sign up for more than one shift.

Attire: nice, dressy casual black and white attire; comfortable shoes

Parking: Please do not park inside the Dominican parking lot. We are trying to leave as many lot spots open for guests as possible. Carpooling is recommended!

Sign in: Upon arrival, please go to the BOARD ROOM in Aquinas Hall to check in with Celeste Shelsey Anding ’82, Alumnae Director and Coordinator of volunteers.

 

Volunteer Area Preferences:

Greeters – you will be stationed along the covered walkway closest to St. Mary’s Hall. Please give a warm welcome to those in line, write name tags for students only, and make polite conversation.

Tour Assistant – stationary greeters to assist with various duties along the tour route, such as registration, distributing gifts, traffic flow/control, and answering questions. Positions will be assigned. Please add any additional preference info in the comments section below.

Dad’s Club Volunteer – set up and break down of displays, tables, chairs, etc. Dads will also greet guests and pass out refreshments.
