Sharing the spirit of Christmas, St. Mary’s Dominican High School’s Annual Adopt-A-Family adopted 59 families (a total of 182 individuals), who are connected to the Dominican community. It was all hands on the deck of a Pirate Ship at St. Mary’s Dominican High School, created by students from cans of food collected during their annual food drive. Christian Leadership Council members at St. Mary’s Dominican High School collected Halloween candy and Jack-o-Lantern baskets for the Dominican Peace Center. On Halloween afternoon the Sisters of Peace distributed the collected sweets to trick-or-treating children in the Gert Town Neighborhood.
