Career Day: An Exploration of Professions

Today Dominican students gained insights into a range of career paths during Career Day’s four sessions where professionals shared their expertise and advice.

Presented by the Guidance Department, Career Day featured 33 speakers that included 30 Dominican alumnae. Speakers were an Air Force Colonel, architects, attorneys, business/entrepreneur, dentist, funeral director, librarian, neonatal intensive care nurses, nurse/midwife, marketers, geophysicist, meteorologist, pediatric emergency physician, obstetrician/gynecologist, photographer, graphic designer, make-up artist/skincare specialist, registered dietitian, social worker, speech language pathologist, kindergarten teacher, university math instructor, optometrist, pharmacist, veterinarian, and chemical, mechanical and petroleum engineers.
