St. Mary’s Dominican High School is among the collaborators of upcoming programs with the New Orleans Hispanic Heritage Foundation (NOHHF) and Tulane University’s Cuban and Caribbean Studies Institute that will co-sponsor renowned Cuban-American author Iván Acosta in a series of events to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15) in New Orleans. Mr. Acosta, a filmmaker, playwright and theatre director, is originally from Santiago, Cuba and lives in New York City.
