Athletic Awards Night Honoring Cross Country and Volleyball

St. Mary’s Dominican High School honored student-athletes for cross country and volleyball at a recent awards night.

Lou Reilly Award Winners

Lou Reilly Memorial Awards were presented to the athletes who continually improved their skills and who listened to their coaches and teammates. The recipients were recognized for encouraging those playing while she is not in the game, and when playing, gives her full effort at each moment. The student-athletes themselves have a nominating vote in the selection of the award, while the final decisions are left to the discretion of the coaches.

LHSAA All-Academic Scholar-Athlete Program

All-Academic 4.0 Composite Team

A student-athlete’s six-semester GPA must have an unweighted 4.00. The award is presented for exemplary academic achievement by maintaining the highest Grade Point Average among all athletes during their academic career while participating in varsity high school athletics.
