Dominican Junior Therese Carriere Earns Perfect ACT Score

St. Mary’s Dominican High School junior Therese Carriere has earned the highest possible composite score of 36 on the ACT®. She is the daughter of Leslie and Charles Carriere IV of Metairie.

The ACT is a standardized test for college admission in the United States. It is accepted by all four-year colleges and universities in the United States as well as more than 225 universities outside the US. The ACT test covers four academic skill areas: English, mathematics, reading, and science reasoning. Each area is scored on a scale of 1-36. A student’s composite score is the average of the four test scores.
