At the New Orleans Hispanic Heritage Foundation (NOHHF) Scholars Ceremony, St. Mary’s Dominican High School students recognized as NOHHF Academic Recognition Scholars were senior Aubrey Crespo, junior Marisa Acevedo, and sophomore Kaylee Gonzalez. Heidi A. Kiesling, President of the NOHHF Board, presented the scholarship awards.

Also at the ceremony, 20 Dominican students were recognized: Seniors – Vida Alvarado, Gabrielle Arencibia, Yara Benedetto, Sofia Chanes, Alivia Christiansen, Sahara Garcia, Remi Layne Hernandez, Hannah Lorusso, Sophia Morales, and Gabriela Munoz. Juniors – Grace Blamphin, Liza Cruz, Maiya Emilien, Leah Patterson, Lillian Reyes, Mia Rodriguez, Isabella Rojas, Gabriella Romero, Julianne Sanchez, and Isabelle Tsien.
NOHHF is a local, non-profit organization dedicated to academic excellence and the future success of Hispanic high school students. Each year, the NOHHF awards students involved in the Hispanic community with a grade point average of a 3.5 or above.
