At the First Tech Challenge Competition held at Destrehan High School on December 1st, the Dominican Robotics Teams took the following wins:

• Team 11526 won first place in the Innovate Award and qualified for the State Competition.

• Team 9637 won second in Design, third in Innovate, second in Think and first place for the Inspire award which is the highest award given at this competition. They also qualified for the state competition.

The teams present at the competition were 6448 Blue Jays, 8897 Sacred Heart Saints, 8956 Team Pyrogen, 9768 Steel Eagles, 9958 Redfish Robotics, 11200 Phenomena, 11220 Bayou Bots,  12965 College Track NOLA 13456 Enigmatic Technomancers, 13939 Equinox, 14374 Dark Matter, 14550 Inferno, 14726 Astrobots
