Applications for the Financial Aid Work Study Program can be obtained through Blackbaud Financial Aid Management. The Work Study Program offers partial tuition reduction in return for on-campus work. Applications are reviewed and families are notified in May.

To be eligible for the PLEASE Foundation Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Entering the 8th grade at a college preparatory high school for the 2026-2027 school year.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Demonstrate acceptable conduct and attendance in school.
• Participate in school clubs, athletics, church, community, and/or volunteer activities.
• Plan to attend college after graduating from high school.
• Submit standardized test scores that meet the minimum requirements, based on the tests administered at their school.

Minimum Standardized test requirements:

• LEAP – Basic or above in all subject areas

• High School Placement Test – 50%ile or above

• ACT Aspire – 50%ile or above

• *Important – All essays should be written without using AI chatbot programs, such as ChatGPT, QuillBot, Google Gemini, etc. Using these programs will disqualify your application.  The purpose of the essays is for the PLEASE Foundation to gain a better understanding of the applicant and their family.

• Applicants will ONLY be contacted to schedule a parent/student interview if the scholarship committee has approved their application for the next round.

Louisiana GATOR Program (Incoming and returning students)

The Louisiana Giving All True Opportunity Scholarship Program, or LA GATOR Program, allows parents to use part of their tax dollars to provide the best educational opportunities for their child. Enacted by the 2024 Louisiana legislature (Act 1), this new program will for the first time ever provide education scholarship accounts (ESAs) to Louisiana families. ESAs in K-12 education create a publicly funded and government-authorized savings account with restricted but diverse uses such as private school tuition assistance, tutoring, online learning, or other approved expenses.

This program is eligible for INCOMING and RETURNING families who meet ONE of the following qualifications:

• Student participated in LA GATOR during the previous school year (2025-2026)
• Student who attended a public school in the previous school year (2025-2026)
• Student’s family earns up to 250% of the federal poverty line ($80,375 annually for a family of four)

Eligibility must be reverified each year to continue participation.

Students must be a Louisiana Resident.

Important: Meeting eligibility requirements doesn’t guarantee scholarships for each applicant. Every year, the Louisiana Legislature decides how much funding LA GATOR receives. When funding’s limited, not every eligible student can be awarded a scholarship.

ACE Scholarship

3. One of the following statements must be true:

• Your child participated in the Louisiana Scholarship Program/Tuition Donation Credit Program during the 2025-26 school year.

Applications are open from February 2^rd to April 15^th.   

Arete Scholarship

Son of a Saint Scholarship Program
