Student Profiles

Addison Ory

Student Ambassador

Out of the four pillars of Dominican, Prayer stands out the most to me. In order to help me deepen my faith, Dominican offers several opportunities for spiritual growth. The weekly masses, daily prayer, and clubs help me draw closer to the Lord.

Student Profile

Aline Elfer

Class of 2026

Dominican's environment allows and encourages room for growth and improvement. At Dominican, I feel welcomed, accepted, and appreciated.

Although all of the four pillars are important, community is the most important to me. Whether it's the toy drive for Dominican's neighbors or visiting the Chateau de Notre Dame Nursing home, community is essential to the Dominican experience. Within the school’s own community, friendships last lifetimes, and the Dominican bond will never be forgotten.

A’Maya Freeman

Tennis

Get ready for the best years of your life! I chose Dominican for the sisterhood. Feeling comfortable and supported was essential during my high school search. Dominican has exceeded my expectations.

Amie Lewis

DominiFan, Student Council Vice President

Dominican was the clear choice for me because of the various academic opportunities and the warm hospitality I experienced when I spent a day. Dominican offers a diverse range of clubs, sports, service opportunities, and events that I know will continue to benefit me even after I graduate. When I finally experienced Dominican for myself, I knew that I made the right choice.

Annalise Gagliano

Swimming – 2021 Team State Runner Up, 200 yd Freestyle Relay State Runner Up; 2022 Team State Runner Up, 200 yd and 400 yd Freestyle Relay State Champion, 50 yd Freestyle State Champion, 100 yd Freestyle State Runner Up

The pillar of Community means the most to me because it represents the lifelong friendships I have made at Dominican. Before I started high school, I always heard about the Dominican sisterhood and wanted to be a part of it. Now as a student, I am proud to be a part of the strong Dominican community that values friendship, education, and service to others.

Aubrie Duplantis

Debs Dance Team

Dominican offers a valuable education that will help later in life. We also participate in many fun activities such as Rally Day, Bleacher Swap, Carol Off, and grade-level Retreats. At Dominican, you will make friends that turn into family. Overall, Dominican is an incredible school where you can build strong bonds and lasting connections.

Bryce Couvillon

Soccer, 2022 State Championship Team

I chose to attend St. Mary's Dominican High School for the education and extracurriculars, which allow students to thrive in clubs, athletics, and academics.

Camille “CC” Truxillo

Academic Games

Through the Dominican pillar of community, I have become part of a true sisterhood. Dominican’s incredible environment brings us all—students, faculty, and staff—closer together through our shared focus on learning, helping others, and growing closer to God through our Dominican education.

Camryn Chatellier

Volleyball, 2020, 2021, 2022 State Championship Teams

Community is the pillar that means the most to me. I have learned to be a part of something bigger than myself. It is now my fourth year on the Dominican Volleyball team, and I could not be more grateful for my teammates. They are a huge part of the community for me, not only being my friends but a second family. I am so proud to represent my school because of the great community it has.
