Student Profiles

Addison Bogran

Student Council

I chose Dominican because I believe it is the best place for me to grow into the best version of myself — whether that means excelling in my studies, thriving as an athlete, or deepening my understanding of God and how He can be present in every part of my life.

Addison Ory

Student Ambassador

Out of the four pillars of Dominican, Prayer stands out the most to me. In order to help me deepen my faith, Dominican offers several opportunities for spiritual growth. The weekly masses, daily prayer, and clubs help me draw closer to the Lord.

Alenna Nitcher

Student Council

The pillar that means the most to me is Community. This pillar is reflected in my daily student experience because I wouldn’t get through each day without the constant support of my friends and teachers. Through Dominican, I’ve built many meaningful friendships, and having that support has made high school a much richer and more positive experience. I always feel the Dominican community cheering me on and believing in my ability to do my best each day, and I am deeply grateful for that.

Aline Elfer

Drama Club, President

Dominican's environment allows and encourages room for growth and improvement. At Dominican, I feel welcomed, accepted, and appreciated.

Although all of the four pillars are important, community is the most important to me. Whether it's the toy drive for Dominican's neighbors or visiting the Chateau de Notre Dame Nursing home, community is essential to the Dominican experience. Within the school’s own community, friendships last lifetimes, and the Dominican bond will never be forgotten.

Amelia Mayfield

Tennis

I would tell a prospective student that the sisterhood she’ll experience at Dominican is so strong! Being part of the tennis teamhas given me the chance to build close friendships and create unforgettable memories while supporting each other both on and off the court. The connections you make here go beyond the classroom and become a meaningful part of your Dominican journey.

Anastasia Redmann

Choir

When considering high schools, don’t be afraid to dream big! Dominican offers countless opportunities for growth in all areas — academically, spiritually, and socially. While stepping out of your comfort zone may seem intimidating at first, the incredible support from administrators, teachers, counselors, coaches, staff, and fellow students makes all the difference. At Dominican, you’re not only given the tools to succeed beyond high school, but also the encouragement to grow into a confident, well-rounded young woman.

Annalise Gagliano

Swimming – Individual State Champion and Runner Up

The pillar of Community means the most to me because it represents the lifelong friendships I have made at Dominican. Before I started high school, I always heard about the Dominican sisterhood and wanted to be a part of it. Now as a student, I am proud to be a part of the strong Dominican community that values friendship, education, and service to others.

Ardenne Kijko

Robotics

Dominican's community is full of people that want to help you grow and learn. When someone is confused about something there is never any hesitation to help that person out because everyone wants each other to succeed.

Aubrie Duplantis

Debs Dance Team

Dominican offers a valuable education that will help later in life. We also participate in many fun activities such as Rally Day, Bleacher Swap, Carol Off, and grade-level Retreats. At Dominican, you will make friends that turn into family. Overall, Dominican is an incredible school where you can build strong bonds and lasting connections.
