Students Study Disease Transmission in Simulated Lab

In the March 11th Human Anatomy class taught by Ms. Anjel Guitroz, students participated in a simulated disease transmission lab. Students simulated the transmission of disease, identified the original disease carrier in the class population, and traced the route of transmission. “In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, this lab activity was a way to demonstrate how easily communicable diseases like hepatitis and influenza can be passed from one person to another,” said Ms. Guitroz.
