St. Mary’s Dominican High School Congratulates Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett

St. Mary’s Dominican High School proudly congratulates alumna Amy Coney Barrett, Class of 1990, on her confirmation to the Supreme Court of the United States of America. In the 231-year history of the Supreme Court, Justice Barrett is the 115th Justice and the fifth woman to be appointed.

Dominican graduates are taught to think critically and independently. As Amy accepts the role to serve on the Supreme Court, we are confident that her Dominican Catholic formation will inform thoughtful and just decisions serving all Americans with respect for life and human dignity, especially marginalized members of society.

Please join in praying for Justice Amy Coney Barrett, our Dominican Community, and our nation while reflecting on the words of St. Paul to the Philippians.
