Dominican Spanish Honor Society Inducts 34 Members

St. Mary’s Dominican High School inducted 34 new members into Sociedad Honoraria, Chapter La Adelitas. Spanish teacher Claudia Vallejo is club moderator. Spanish Honor Society members requirements include enrollment in an upper-level Spanish class (Spanish III and Spanish Advanced Placement); completion of at least three semesters of Spanish (former Spanish III students and Spanish AP students can be eligible as Associate Members; and overall GPA of 3.5; GPA of 3.75 in Spanish from all previous courses founded. The Spanish Honor Society, founded in 1953 by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese, is for the students at North American secondary schools. The society motto is, “All Together.”
