On the Feast Day of Our Lady of Fatima, members of Dominican’s Pro-Life Club, with Club Moderator Theresa Maquar, gathered in Our Lady Queen of the Rosary Chapel to pray for life. This summer, the U.S. Supreme Court is expected to issue a decision that could alter or overturn Roe v. Wade. In his message asking the clergy, religious, and laity of the Archdiocese of New Orleans to join him in prayer, Archbishop Gregory Aymond shared, “I look forward to the day when the legal right to human life is restored in Louisiana. Let us continue to pray and work for a greater respect for the dignity of life, especially for the unborn, and to support every mother and family in need.”
