Dominican Ultraviolet Team Qualifies for State Robotics Championship Event

Team 9637 Dominican Ultraviolet, St. Mary’s Dominican High School robotics team, qualified for the March 4th State Championship after earning Inspire Award 3rd Place at the January 21st First Tech Challenge (FTC) Robotics Qualifier held at Dominican’s campus.

The team also received 1st Place Control Award and 2nd Place Connect Award. In Match Play Ranking, they placed 6th out of 17 teams. For Alliance Match Play Captain the team was ranked 4th. Dominican hosted the FTC Robotics Qualifier. Assisting with hosting the event were Dominican alumnae Mia Nguyen and Victoria Chan, Class of 2020, who were on Dominican’s robotics team when they were students.
