St. Mary’s Dominican High School senior Isabelle McKnight has been offered $1.2 million in scholarships from 12 universities: Wofford College, Tulane University, Sewanee: The University of the South, Furman University, University of Arkansas, University of Alabama, Loyola University Chicago, Loyola University New Orleans, University of Mississippi, Louisiana State University, Spring Hill College, and Auburn University.
The Honor Roll student is a member of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Student Ambassadors, and current president of Mu Alpha Theta. She is also a member of the Biotechnology Club and Spanish Club.
Her volunteer experience includes more than 450 service hours. To earn these hours, she has been involved in Dominican’s Peer Tutoring, and she assisted the head camp counselor in the supervision and monitoring of the young campers at Christian Brothers School’s Little Falcons Summer Camp.
