The Biotechnology Club performed an ELISA (enzyme-linked immunoabsorbant assay) test which is used to detect infection by testing patients’ blood (simulated) for the presence or absence of antibodies against a particular pathogen such as viruses or bacteria. Club moderator is Mrs. Janine Koenig.

The Flag-Wavers of Sansepolcro, a group of flag wavers, drummers and trumpeters from the Tuscan region of Italy, performed March 17 during a student assembly. Sansepolcro, a city in central Italy, is known for the flag-waving group that originated in the 1950s. The performance featured routines of synchronized moves, aerial exchanges and rapid spins.
