Dominican Students To Compete at National Academic Games

St. Mary’s Dominican High School’s students in Academic Games finished their season and will compete at the national Academic Games League of America competition in Atlanta, April 18-22.

The Dominican students posted wins in their district. Middle school division: 8th graders Therese Hymel – 3rd place and Camille Hymel – 7th place out of 74 players in the cumulative score (sweepstakes) rankings. Senior division: Camille C.C. Truxillo – 2nd place and Isabelle Anderson – 4th  place out of 26 players in the senior sweepstakes rankings.

Joining them at the national competition will be Dominican seniors Tess Baker and Maddie McGuire, 8th grader Avery Johnston, and sophomore Truc Nguyen. Academic Games moderators are Leslie Cobar and Monica Haag.
